A designer that combines her passion for research & design-thinking to solve user problems and deliver products that center around digital experiences.
My design philosophy is to leave every experience and design better, clearer, and more user-friendly than how I found it.
As someone who loves planning, becoming a designer was not on my bingo card.
I originally wanted to become a veterinarian and pursue the medical field, but with my terrible allergies and realization that I did not have a passion for medicine, I took a step back and had to re-evaluate what brought me joy. It was so hard.
But during my last year of undergrad at UT Austin, I took an intro course into UX/UI Design, completely fell in love with the design process, and made the decision to become a designer.
I earned my UX/UI Design Certificate from The University of Texas at Austin's McCombs School of Business, and started my design career working with local family-owned businesses and non-profits to put my designs out in the world.
Since then, I've worked as an in-house designer at an Austin-based med-tech start-up, where I began as an entry-level designer, then became the lead designer and sole owner of all things related to design.
And now, I design with Studio Jinner, contributing to company's UX/UI, branding, email marketing, graphics, and social media across health, hospitality, and creative industries.
Thank you for reading through, and learning more about me as a designer!!
